2 Hard copies of the 2004 Field Guide are available for purchase through the Alabama Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society and the Jefferson County Soil and Water  Conservation Foundation.   

3 Limited numbers of the August 2004 Field Guide are available at most Soil and Water Conservation District offices. In addition, copies are available from some city and county governments, the Home Builders Association of Alabama and the Associated General Contractors of Alabama, and some conservation suppliers and contractors.


Continuing Ed Course: "Using the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE 2) to Predict Erosion and Sediment Deposition on Construction Sites" - February 2-3 and February 4-5, 2016

Ted Sherrod, P.E, CPESC, CPSWQ, will teach the course at Irondale on February 2-3 and Montgomery on February 4-5. Sessions will be 1 1/2 days long. Registrations will be accepted on a "first come, first serve" basis and each class will be limited to 20 participants.
